My advice would be to steer clear until the server problems are fixed.
In terms of the game itself there is very little to dissapoint. The game play is satisfying and all in all you could spend an awful lot of hours having fun with this game! The downside is that you are, at the moment, unlikely to get many hours of anything other than frustration out of the game due to continuing connection and server problems. Many users have problems connecting, unexplained disconnections are frequent and lag often makes the game unplayable at peak times. Google "BFBC2 forums" and read the threads on the "Feedback and Help" forum. This will give you an idea of the problems you might face with this game. I bought this game in March, it is now May and the problems are every bit as bad as they were to start with. Hopefully they will be fixed eventually... so I guess the question you might want to ask yourself is "do I want to pay £40 for a product I can't reliably use?&
