When fitted correctly, these pads will quieten the drums, improve responsiveness and will not decrease sensitivity, but there are no fitting instructions with this product.
DO NOT Slap em straight on. They are too big for the heads. They will not adhere correctly, they will end up sounding worse than before and you will lose sensitvity.
If you look under each drum head, you will see they are held in by 4 rubber 'bungs'. What you need to do, is apply a bit of pressure to the lower part of the head (not the outer rim) and prise up the heads, taking care not yank the very frail thin wire underneath, resulting in the heads 'popping' out of the main frame.
Turn the head over. Remove the 6 small screws holding the outer rim down. Re fit the head (minus the ring) by aligning up the 'bungs' with holes and applying a bit of pressure. Then just stick on the pad.
